I haven’t seen my best friend for some months now, but I’m gonna see her on the weekend (Hooray!). This means as well, that she will now get her birthday-gifts… Although her birthday is as well some months ago. Anyway!
I decided to do some handmade Body Scrub for her! So I was searching for some easy recipes I could do with stuff I already have at home – and I found a really really great one from Amber at Snippets of Design!
Just have a look over here:
http://snippetsofdesign.com/amazing-home-spa-treatments/
You just need Sugar, Olive Oil, Honey and maybe some aromatic oil or similiar. Amber suggests Peppermint Extract, I used some drops of vanilla-flavoured oil.
I putted the scrub in one of those typical IKEA-jars (american IKEA here)
To accessorize the jar, I created a label for it, which explains what’s in there. As I’m only able to print black and white here at my home, I made it just black and white.
But I had fun creating these and then made some more with colors!
And I made a PDF-file with these four labels, each in two sizes, which you can download for your own personal use here: { Body Scrub Labels }
(If you would like to have other colors, just send me a mail – it will be a pleasure for me!)
{ HERE } is a new, christmas, color version!
Hope you like it :)

First of all I would like to say fantastic blog!
I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear
your thoughts before writing. I’ve had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Thanks!

…there’s not much I can say honestly. I just write, when I have motivation. There may even be a time of a few weeks or months, where nothing happens in this blog! This blog reflects my life, so … But I try to write some articles in preparation for those times, so that it never gets boring for the readers!
Love, Midsommarflicka

OMG! Love these! Exactly the shape I wanted! Is it possible to get in a purple and gold or purple and blush pink? Making these for bridal favors for my soon to be sister in laws bridal shower. You would be my hero! I am new to all those DIY stuff and love when I can find what I envisioned in my head! Thank you so much!

And yes, I can make you the labels in other color-combos! I hope, it’s soon enough for you, if I do that on the weekend?!
If you want a special color, you can send me that one also, just check e.g. on kuler.adobe.com and mail me the numbers for RGB for the colors you want!
I’d love to help you and I’d LOVE if you’d send me a photo, where you see them! :)

Amazing!! I’m in the process of launching my natural skin care line, and I was looking for labels for my scrub. It’s crazy because I envisioned something similar so when I stumbled on your page you can imagine how thrilled I was. Such a life-saver!. I was wondering if you could make customised labels for my line? If I sent you an idea of what I’m going for. I understand it can be time consuming so let me know if there will be any costs.
Looking forward to hearing from you
