As (nearly) ususal, those who are following me on instagram, could sneak a peek for this project. They saw the fabric I used already yesterday:

Wie (fast schon) üblich, konnten instagram-Follower schon einen kleinen Blick auf das heutige Projekt erhaschen. Dort gab’s nämlich den verwendeten Stoff schon zu sehen:

Sewing a bunting is a easy thing for the first part. The second part, well… wasn’t that easy. At least for me. But let’s begin with the first step!

Eine Wimpelgirlande nähen ist zumindest für den ersten Teil recht simpel. Der zweite Teil, nun ja… der war nicht so einfach. Jedenfalls nicht für mich. Aber fangen wir vorne an!

Happy Birthday! { give away }

Although I think, my personal birthdays are kinda boring and I don’t like to celebrate them… well, this one is going to be celebrated! It’s my first blogiversary!
So: Happy Birthday to myself

To be honest, I wouldn’t have thought, to have this blog for so long, I thought, I would quite way before. And I wouldn’t have thought I would meet so many people trough this blog… It’s just amazing, what’s sometimes going on in mail post box!
So, I would like to take this opportunity and THANK all the other ladies (so far only ladies…!) that I met in the last year. THANKS!

Auch wenn ich meine eigenen Geburtstage irgendwie blöd finde und sie nicht mehr feiern will… diesen hier werde ich begehen! Mein kleiner Blog hat sein erstes Jahr überstanden!
Na denn: Herzlichen Glückwunsch!

Ehrlich gesagt, hatte ich ja am Anfang nicht gedacht, dass ich überhaupt so lange durchhalte, sondern dachte, ich würde das Ding nach ein paar Wochen wieder einstampfen. Und ich hätte nicht gedacht, wie viele und welche Menschen ich durch diesen Blog so kennen lerne! Manchmal ist es einfach nur großartig, was in meinem Mail-Posteingang so los ist!
Und deswegen würde ich diesen Tag auch gern zum Anlass nehmen, und all den wunderbaren Menschen danken, die ich letzten Jahr kennen lernen durfte: DANKE!

Yep, I know it’s boring here right now.

Ja, ich weiß, es ist grad etwas öde hier.

At first I was busy all days with the Kirchentag (pictures: I, II, III, IV, V). Then I got sick and stayed in bed with fever… and didn’t accomplished anything. Yesterday I was in a museum here in Hamburg (Museum of Arts & Craft) and wanted to write a lot about it – but it seems, I’m not fully recovered yet, I was much too tired. And now I want to go to the birthday of the Hamburg harbour. And yes, I will be too tired again tonight to accomplish anything.
Next week will hopefully be better!
But I have some (instagram again…) pictures plus a Vine-video from yesterday, from the museum!

Erst war der Kirchentag (Bilder: I, II, III, IV, V). Dann war ich Anfang der Woche krank und lag mit Fieber im Bett… und habe nichts von dem geschafft, was ich wollte. Gestern war ich dann im Museum hier in Hamburg (Museum für Kunst & Gewerbe) und wollte darüber erzählen – aber offensichtlich bin ich noch nicht wieder vollständig gesund, denn abends war ich viel zu müde. Und jetzt will ich gleich noch los zum Hafengeburtstag. Und ja, auch heute Abend werde ich also wieder zu müde für alles sein. (Oh Gott, wie die Wohnung aussieht!)
Nächste Woche wird’s hoffentlich besser!
Aber ich hab noch ein paar (instagram, mal wieder…) Bilder und ein Vine-Video vom Museumsbesuch gestern!
